Perumbavoor Kallada Travels is a municipality in the Ernakulam district of the Indian state of Kerala. It is the headquarters of Kunnathunad Taluk. Its jurisdiction formerly encompassed the towns of Alwaye and Kolenchery, which were separated later. It has a Chief Judicial Magistrate's court and a Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. Perumbavoor has recently gained a Subordinate Judge's Court (Sub-court). Perumbavoor has many immigrants from other parts of India. Most work in the plywood or other industries.
